MagSafe Connector Disassembly
Use water pump pliers on the short ends of the magnetic coupling to rip it out of the contact housing. Notice the different pin lengths that go into the contact array.
Use a small screwdriver to push the contact array a little towards the cable end of the housing, before using it to lift the tip out of the housing. Take care not to damage the small grounding spring under the first contact pin (nearest to the tip) as you ease the contact array out of the housing.

Great tips but how did u remove the magnetic "thing" from the pins?
